Pfu DNA Polymerase

Product Introduction

Pfu DNA Polymerase is a highly thermostable DNA polymerase derived from the hyperthermophilic archaeon Pyrococcus furiosus, which is recombinantly expressed in E. coli. It has high amplification efficiency and fidelity. The enzyme has a strong 3’→ 5’ exonuclease activity, which enables it to correct nucleotide errors and provides higher fidelity than Taq DNA Polymerase. It also has high amplification efficiency, reaching a speed of 1 kb/10 s, and has strong long fragment amplification ability.
